Thats a great time mate , i'm not suprised you were ruined . the boxing gym sounds a bit cack , the one i train at is really good my only complaint is he's not that keen on old men knocking lumps out of each other so i get limited opportunity to spar , and with out sparring its difficult to improve . Luckily my oldest son is keen to spar me at every opportunity , probably because he's a lot better than me Grin

2 mad weeks at work and then a short holiday mean i haven't trained for ages , so quick sunday session:


semi sumo deadlift 110k 5/5/5/5
atg bodyweight squat x5 plus 10kx5 plus 15kx5
10k slam ball to the front x5 each hand
nordic negatives to a bench 5/5/5 tried to come up with the least amount of assistance .
single arm overhead press 10k 5/5/5

did a bit of boxing training last week and then at the weekend i went to Brecon and did the Fan Dance which is a 15 mile route up and over penny fan made famous as part of the sas selection . we did the full course but only carrying 10 pounds in rucksacks , i think the selection candidates carry 40 pounds and a rifle . my racing snake mate did it in 4 hours 30 minutes and i did it in 5 hours 28 minutes . it was pretty f**king hard.

monday 1 hours boxing training legs were still destroyed from the weekend so i just got through the session

got to the gym late so just got what i could done.

been really busy with work and a bit lazy with training going to try and rectify this next week .

thursday boxing training :



sparred 10 1 minute rounds working up from light technical to hard sparring for the last couple got to spar 4 different people with us dropping in and out , which was great as I never did more than 2 rounds back to back and sparring is f**king knackering .
