I turned 46 this year and for the first time im nearer in age to 50 then 40 , and as my mid life crisis strikes harder ive found myself increasingly more interested in keeping myself in as good shape as possible to deter the ageing process.

I'm coming round to the view that a combination of strength training , exercise and flexibility work are the keys to feeling younger ,but what i'm really interested in is what you can do to lessen the impact of falling testosterone levels as you age , before every one suggests all manner of chemicals , i'm looking at natural ways to maintain or boost testosterone levels if that's even possible.

Don't think you can do much to enhance what nature has in store for you other than jump aboard the enanthata express. I wouldn't waste money on crap natty products like DAA, tongkat, tribulus etc. Don't think any have massive amounts of peer reviewed evidence that they do much.

Best you can do is mitigate factors that both lower test production and also increase other negative factors such as raised cortisol, insulin resistance etc drinking, bad diet, body fat, sleep deprivation and stress to name but few.

despite men being able to father children into relative old age, we've only (in a species history context) recently enjoyed lifespans over 35 years. So from evolutionary perspective there's never been the selection pressure to maintain metabolically expensive processes such as high test, high gh (ped users will attest the ability of these hormones to ramp up fat burning and muscle anabolism).

This is on my mind too Ed. I'm suddenly finding that I'm getting niggles that won't disappear. I've been eating a little healthier and have been cycling. Ageing is scary!

I have just zercher lifted 201kg though, so I'm not done yet...

Sleep properly, eat properly, stress less.

I'm also going to throw in regular ejaculation, whether it be in the company of a woman, man, dog, sock, palm. Proven to reduce likelihood of prostate cancer if you empty your nuts 20 times a month.

I recently attended a talk about men's health and apparently this is untrue.

I do have almost zilch stress in my life. Ironically, this is due to doing a very challenging/stressful job and no longer finding it challenging/stressful and nothing outside of work ever even vaguely approaching that level!

TRT - The good stuff, not the gel you rub on your sack.

Minge or Rim - No matter what your preference of slot, regular sex will keep you healthy in mind and body.

Sleep - Sleep like a king, in a dark room, well ventilated and on a comfy bed. Sleep is so crucial and investing in a good sleep setup will help no ends.

De-stress - Stop worrying about the things in life you can't control. Stop fighting at train stations, just relax and try to eliminate stress as it's called the silent killer for a reason.

Be active - Exercise is paramount. Do things you enjoy and be active. Use it or lose it is true, and maintaining good health is founded upon being active.

Fantastic advice. Not just for grandpa over here but also us young stallions.

Worked for me so far...
Shave your head - hair's gay anyway
Buy a motorbike
Climb mountains
Run marathons
Park your car up and cycle everywhere
Learn new stuff - new stuff is f**king ace
Take annual trips to Amsterdam. Amsterdam is testo tastic
Treat your Mrs well - divorces aren't good for gainz and homelessness is bad for testo
eat more fat and less carbs - can't be arsed discussing the science. I tried it and it feels great.
Druken dance on tables at least once a month
Laugh your cock off at least once a day. If you have nothing to laugh at start working back through the list
