Cholesterol is however needed for test production, so could therefore lead to GAINZ "Bovine marrow from grass-fed animals averaged 119.6 mg/100g and marrow from grain-fed animals averaged 150.6 mg/100g marrow. The cholesterol content of marrow from the cervical, lumbar, and femur was 190.1, 124.1, and 91.0 mg/100g marrow, respectively. Mechanically deboned meat (MDM) and beef lean had a mean cholesterol content of 153.3 and 50.9 mg/100g tissue." Kunsman Et al. Journal of Food Science 1981.

Cholesterol consumed from diet has minimul impact on blood cholesterol levels.

Saturated fats increase blood cholesterol more. Yes I'd heard that, however I recently learned on a biology course that even their effect are limited. Apparently diet can only have roughly a 10% effect on cholesterol levels, as cholesterol is created in the body and thus regulated anyway. Genetic pre-disposition is the main factor in having high levels of LDL

Your cholesterol level could be 7.0 but made up mainly of hdl. I had a play with the machines when I used to work for the NHS. Fun times.

My GP wanted me to have an x-ray after I tore my meniscus. Fat b**ch must've been a good 20 stone and probably couldn't clap her hands. Jack of all trades, master of none!

Ah, Ive never had my cholesterol levels checkes so have no idea what the doctors do. I do however no that from my experience, GPs are more often than not a waste of time unfortunately.

My gran went in twice feeling unwell and got told to take two aspirin and go to bed. Few months later she died because the cancer she had went undiagnosed. Then when my grandad died, his response to my parents was "if you want to sell the house, let me know". GENERAL practitioners are only good if they send you off to somebody who knows what they're on about. Having said that, my current GP is excellent at getting me referred straight away.
