Member 1830, 404 posts | getting a sharp pain in my right shoulder, feels like its under the muscle. can take realy light weight but then gets too much. cant put my arm back even to hold bar to squat. any ideas wat it could be lads and how a can help it recover.cheers | ||

My opinions have run their course Member 694, 3112 posts | Had this same thing myself and sorted it with two things... 1) Physio. Basically consisting of her showing me how to properly set my shoulder. I think I was slouching a bit and I had to keep pulling it up and back into a proper position, hold for 10 seconds, relax, then go again. Three times through a few times a day. 2) Drew from Unit 20 (who is a radiologist), told me that because I was doing a lot of pressing movements, eg military and bench press, that I should always equal them up by doing a reverse fly or pulling movement to work the rear deltoid. Don't know which one fixed it but it's better now. It came on through heavy benching. | ||
