After reading that article that sounds like exactly what I had a few years back (and it reoccurs from time to time very briefly). I reckon i got it from repeatedly squatting badly, my left knee used to pull in, and not track over my foot. I used diclofenac to ease it, and saw a physio who gave me some exercises to do. One of the ones I remember was standing on the bottom step and keeping the affected leg on the step, step down with the good one and repeat for reps. Also placing a folded up pillow between the knees and doing partial squats whilst pressing the knees together into pillow. Now I squat properly and heavier than ever. If the pain ever reccurs its due to getting out of lowish cars or turning corners with heavy goddamn supermarket trollies!
I'd see a physio to be sure what it is though.

thanxs guys sounds realy dumb question but how do i go about seein a physio do i get referred thru my doctors

just go to the doctors but dont take any of the pish like its your weight or do you do heavy lifting?had this problem a few years back

exactly mate thats exactly what my doctors are like mate proper usuless t**ts man or hel give me prescription for what ever i need it for and does explan what the tablets do or anything pisses me off never have enough time last year my other doctor who left was sat writing her xmas cards out and never looked at me once horible cow
