Great bit of advice imo.

It's only when I started thinking in that way that I really started enjoying my training.

Finding it hard to think that way.

I should also update this log too!

A small update from last night (all PBs as I've never done them before).

Log - 80kg
Farmers - 90kg
Natural stone press - 65kg
Atlas stone - 100kg (can't remember the platform height)

Terrible session today.

Didn't manage my 80kg log from last week although did get two reps out at 75kg.

Farmers were my high point of the day. 100kg farmers for 20m in around 24 to 26 seconds. Also did 120kg farmers for 10m without putting it down.

Managed a 65kg natural stone second or third time round. Cleaned a 70kg natural stone twice, but couldn't press it.

Finally atlas stones. Got 80kg, 90kg and 100kg in one foul swoop. I missed getting the 110kg stone up by the thickness of a pubic hair.

Other than bled quite a bit and feel like I'm about to be sick.

Cheers. Eating big is great but at the moment I can't stomach anything. Hoping to get through my week's sessions on No-Xplode!

Great seeing you lot in action again.

After having had two weeks off with the flu and generally being lazy I attended the School of Squatting and Deadlifting with robocop.

Started off with squats in sets of three up to 140kg. Came back down to 100kg and did a few sets of three to get my technique right. Will be doing this for a while so I'm not "good morning" the weight.

Finished off with some deadlifting. Up to a failed 170kg then back down to 140kg and three/four sets of three to get the squeaky hips down.

Feeling stiff today.

Can't beat a bit of the old squatting. I'm working my technique just now too. It's a real mother!

I'm sure you'll be perfecting it at the Palace. I couldn't ask for a better teacher, although I am feeling quite stiff from the volume and proper technique.

i spent 2 years good morning up my squats ,I'm still prone to doing it when things get heavy! wise move to work on your technique ,it will be a good investment for the future!

The only upside is that my good mornings are pretty good.
