Currently doing 10 doubles or triples to try and get some more volume in. 40c weather means sets of 5 or so leave me drenched in sweat, plus I work a physically demanding job.
10x3 for squats/deads good or bad?

Bench is generally 90kg x 3, 95x3,100x3, 105x3, 110x3, 115x3 then back down again.

I also do accessory work.

Any good?

Good (but I personally would do less sets).

It will work well, plenty of volume so a good mix of strength and hypertrophy work

Yes, but you would do 1 set of 2 reps, including warmups.

I like this idea a lot.

I had a program done by the legend that is AMH_Power, and I've used that pretty much every time I want to peak.

However, I always worry about deadlifting reps and volume. 5x5 for example, once you start getting heavy, it is incredibly taxing and my concern is always a breakdown in form and fatigue opens the door to potential injuries.

Also, my goal for deadlifting was always increase my 1RM, and as a result I always thought that every rep needs to be approached as if it is a 1RM, not rep 2,3,4 or 5 where the rep is different to the first (Unless you completely reset and let go of the bar between each rep).

It will work fine.
I did 8 sets of 3 for a long while and made decent progress.

It can get a little boring though so make sure you mix it up a bit on the accessories to stop things getting stale.

I feel like my deadlifts get faster as they go along. My ass comes up first and I SLDL it up. My first rep LOOKS perfect technically but it's a slower grind, then my technique goes to my default setting and it speeds up a lot. I do front squats and box squats but this always happens.
