foxy | Singlet rules at local comp | 22-04-2018 @ 17:59
The shite one Member 2740, 200 posts | The mrs might do a powerlifting competition this year, but it's likely to be a one off. She doesn't have an IPF approved brand of singlet but has an adidas weightlifting singlet and doesn't fancy buying a new singlet. At local comps in UK, are you likely to be allowed to compete with such an outfit?

Hyper obese Pete Member 70, 17871 posts SQ 322.5, BP 205, DL 300827.5 kgs @ 133kgs Eq | If that were me, I would allow her to lift after telling her that her singlet was illegal, and as such she would not be allowed to win or set any records (knowing full well that as a novice she is highly unlikely to do either) If she turned up a second time I would allow it again (with the same provisos) but warn her that there would not be a third. There would not be a third. Every division is different, you can only ask
