Good evening

I have been unfortunate enough to have done my back in three times in the last 18 months, first time with atlas stones, second with deadlift and finally on the leg press (herniated disk and trapped nerve causing numbness in left leg). Been to physio for a few sessions who very recently advised that there are now no signs of disk herniation (left leg still numb at the top) & advised me that i could return to training but with a modified routine i.e. no deads/squats, nothing heavy just sets of 12/15 on everything. 3 months in and now looking at adding the more challenging exercises gradually back into the routine. my main goal was to increase the weight of the lifts and do some more strongman comps but i don't think i'm cut out for competing with various injuries (left knee, left shoulder now lower back) so going down the size/strength route instead, Any advise appreciated as

I'd honestly say that if part of you is still numb, leave things until it's sorted. You clearly have had problems and it would seem like a completely unnecessary risk at this point.

Can I ask a couple of questions?
1. Are you still 127kg?
2. What specifically caused the injuries - trying to lift too heavy, whilst fatigued...or did they just happen?
