A great website was posted on SDF that's selling them really cheap. I thought we might consider all chipping in and getting one or two and storing them down the other end. What do you guys think? They can be great for some more strength specific conditioning and the quick lifts too. Plus plenty of core work options with swings etc.

Does f*ck all for SugdenBarbell.co.uk Member 1, 7173 posts SQ 182.5, BP 110, DL 205497.5 kgs @ 107kgs UnEq Administrator | I'd rather build a sled How much would you be wanting everyone to put in? The heavier ones aren't exactly cheap (if you get a pair) and then there's postage...

For instance, the move i'd most like to do is the kettlebell swings, which you can easily do with a dumbell. Exellent conditioning exercise. having said that if there is a drive to get these i am happy to put in a tenner or so

Go ! go ! team strengthshop !!! Member 18, 5295 posts SQ 185, BP 130, DL 230545.0 kgs @ 95kgs UnEq | Me and Jono ordered some the other day. I just got a pair of 24's, but that mad f**ker got 12's, 16's, 32's and 40's, pairs of them all! Not sure if it's worth having two now really, so might sell one of my 24's, just got caught up in the moment Will be good for endurance stuff i reckon, and also for going away (short breaks and s**t when it's hard to take any sort of equipment).

Eat.Cycle.Sleep.Win Member 2, 12511 posts SQ 190, BP 150, DL 280620.0 kgs @ 99kgs UnEq Administrator | Well I wouldnt be looking at pairs thats for sure. Id have probably looked at getting a 16 and a 24kg to start with. Not to worry, I think having them at home might be more useful anyway. Just wanted to see if there was any interest....

You silly sod - of course it is worth having a pair. You can do all sorts of double KB lifts like cleans, jerks, snatches, push presses, rows, floor presses etc etc! You spent more than that on pointless lifting belt that you never use! Jonathan

Go ! go ! team strengthshop !!! Member 18, 5295 posts SQ 185, BP 130, DL 230545.0 kgs @ 95kgs UnEq | But they're all stuff you can also do with one, so i think the benefits of having 2 are not as simple as 2x1.
