I've been having this for a while but it used to only be during rdl's now it happens when im pressing and deadlifting, there's no pain but it feels like my tricep is being pulled or torn slightly. really warming it up seems to help and foam rolling aswell but it still happens. Anyone had something like this before? I should be resting it but I really want to know what it is.

I've had this happen quite a few times.Sometimes feels like tricep has gone numb and sometimes just a sharp pain. Always seems to dissapear though and never caused any lasting damage. Mine usually occurs if I've been overhead tricep movements or on log when shoulders start to tire.

I get that sensation when i bench now, any thing heavy maked it happen. i feel it came from scar tissue caused by injuries. as it only happens on the injured side. deep tissue massage helped.

Tricep but its in the muscle not at the joint.
