Had some pain in ma lower back for about a week now, pretty sharp n felt like it was right in ma spine.

But had a wee workout tneet, n thought f**k it n did some good mornings. Only light with 40kg for a few sets. Thought it would cripple me, but boom! Lower back pain gone.

Anyone got any thoughts on why this might of happened? I honestly thought workin the problem area would lead to more pain (yeah i know that's a bit stoopid but it worked out alright!).

What caused it in the first place do you know?

Light work often helps mine. In fact, other than when I try and deadlift heavy too often, the only time my back gives me trouble is when I've taken time off training.

how much ab work do you do? just a thought, most of my back pain comes from when I do no ab training.

I think it first went with poor form on heavy deadlifts, n now just plays up every now and then.

And i do ab work fairly often, alot more than i do lower back to be honest, so i thought maybe it could be an imbalance?

you could of just had a pinched nerve and the light work you have done with the GM's helped loosen it.
