do you think the 5x10 is good/productive?

I have only been doing it for a couple of weeks! I can't see how it won't be productive providing I eat and sleep enough.

dat hypertrophy.

If you're going to do it just for a month, I'd run a Sheiko 4 weeker. Split that up, get some proper work in.

Do it.

You are just splitting a session in 2 anyway. You'll be fine.

And 5/3/1 is a good programme. Train hard, eat plenty and sleep plenty. No need for fancy crap.

Defo not a bad idea just -

- Build up your frequency
- Stager your volume
- Stager your intensity
- Be gradual with any build up.
- Don't neglect mobility or soft tissue work LGrin

What would you suggest for volume/intensity?

A squat session at the moment looks like:
5/3/1 reps then 5x10 at 55% of actual max single then 5x15 hypers

Split into AM/PM:
AM: 5/3/1 reps only
PM: 5x10 but push percentage to nearer 60% plus other assistance?

Do it. I wish I could train twice a week, the amount of work I could get in would be great but the food intake would be very big too!
