He's still a f**king giant though, haha. It's all a bit of a project for myself really. Changed a lot of things in my training and lifestyle. No s**t food, not much partying, no drugs, more conditioning work, no smoking etc. I must say although obviously weaker I feel so much better

interesting Terry but good to hear.
I'm just wondering if you continue doing this kind of maintaining ie without eating surplus calories for gaining strength, and not using drugs etc; how long before a big competition, so for example worlds strongest man 2013 would you have to say ''right i want to have a good go at this comp'' so better go back to normal ways so increase weight back etc how much prep time would you need.. I'm just curious as me personally i find that if i have a few months break from naughty stuff; it doesn't take too long at all to build back to my strongest once i start being ''serious'' again.. Most of the time just 4-6 weeks then hitting pbs etc, which has had me thinking in the past perhaps maintenance for most of the year then hit it hard only 8-10 weeks before a competition is the answer. Hope you understand what i mean I'm confusing myself lol

I always think I can get myself in wsm shape within 10weeks. So long as I'm fairly strong at the starting point. Because I've not been reliant on other assistance I stay fairly strong even when I take a few weeks off training completely.

Maybe cause your a big guy naturally, means you could hold a lot of your strength naturally, and if you decide to go on and do more intense training, you will find that your strength will return very fast, just like muscle memory

It's my favourite bit of kit I own. I love the sound it makes when you drop it.
