Mmm, dunno then mate, for the sake of a few quid on a tube or for that matter you could use a knee wrap and a few minutes of your time it maybe worth a try, it used to get rid of mine instantly.

TBH mate it didn't effect my pressing just my cleaning of axle and log/any bicep movement really (different to your pain) so i carried on pressing just cut the cleaning for a while. I think you may do well getting some light high rep pressing in and see how it feels, if its feeling crap then rest up for a bit.

I think i did it every couple of days, can't remember, i may have said in the thread i added. I just did it when it started hurting again i think. I also made sure to do it before training and sometimes after. I have no issues at all now, just a dodgy shoulder instead!

I've suffered from this for a while now. Stopped me training upper body at one point and even squats hurt as holding the bar made the elbows sore!

Been to see the osteopath a lot over this (docs will be useless and chiropractors, for me, have been s**te & with s**t knowlegdeable)!

Osteo diagnosed it as epycondilitis for me: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epicondylitis

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tennis_elbow / http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golfer%27s_elbow

Hurt like hell with any pressing bar flat bench; anything incline (barbell or dumbbells were s**te) and took me months to get it anywhere near as close to being sorted.

Took lots of ibuprofen; cod liver oil, glucosomine with chondroitin along with icing and heat treatment as well as seeing the osteo for getting it cracked and popped loose and acupuncture etc...

Always were elbow sleeves now when training (Vulkan neoprene ones when training normally and the bumble-bees for heavy lifting) to keep the joint warm and supported

Warm up a lot too with very light weights until I feel ready to start to move to heavier weights; more for overhead stuff but still warm up for any sessions I do.

It's took me close to 14months to get back to normal I'd say but length of recover will be different for each individual!

My advice; ice it and take ibuprofen. Give it a good week or 2 of either not training upper body stuff or very light workouts; find yourself a GOOD osteopath (preferably one who understands sports injuries) and inhale ibuprofen Grin
