9x WSM finalist! Member 662, 3372 posts	I do heavy pickups when say training for wsm with 455 then the runs I never use more than 380 but usually 320-350. As I said on Facebook if you're gonna do heavy pickups make sure you have the same height setup and foot stance as you would if you're gonna run with it.

I do 2 runs generally yes. 20-25 each way. There might well be but over any reasonable distance (25m) I don't think it'll be soon. When they did it at the Arnold's to was about 8m
