thanks. that actually makes me feel a bit better, knowing im not the only one. i seem to have them quite often n usualy on thursdays for some reason, they must know its my squat day n be extra noisy

Mines from having a moody teenager, a stroppy 12 year old and a hyper 2 year old! Its no wonder i love my cold shed to train in lol!

lol the shed of sanctuary. i have a 3 yr old and a 8 month old, if 1s not crying or shouting they both are.

40 x 5, 5
60 x 3 - tricep cramp thing started same as last week
70 x 3
80 x 2 - core n balance felt s**t from here onwards
90 x 2
100 x 1 - s**t, slow grinding battle every mm to lockout
100 x 2 - alot better but still not as good as last week
90 x 4 - wanted 5-6 but again balance/core was s**t

wanted to try 110 today but the 1st 100 went like id expect the 110 to go so knew today was a bad day. even the light warm ups felt slowish n unstable.

started to rain halfway thru n log handles got wet (i press thumbless) so i was rushing a bit more than normal. also found breathing harder than usual with log sat on chest not sure if it was to do with less rest too.

bench wide paused

140 x 1 - equal PB
145 x 1 - PB
120 x 4 lol, this didnt feel 25kg lighter, cudnt tell the differance between the 145 wen i unracked it

happy with bench pb after log n with ache in tri, doesnt seem to effect strength just speed near lockout.

not really today. log was below best and old bench pb was done after log aswell n went very easy i just didnt push it so the 145 is abit of a cheap pb in that sense. but thankyou anyway

bit of a s**t day. car broke down n wont move soo had a stressful afternoon. hurt my knee trying to push the car up a slope, with s**t grip trainers on wet ground n floor n trainers covered in oil. barely f**king moved it so was pointless. pissed off is an understatement, was only few weeks ago it cost £500 for repairs.

anyway wasnt guna let it stop my deadlift 1rm attempt.

squats, beltless mostly paused
20 x 5, 5
50 x 5
80 x 5
100 x 5, 5

deadlifts, belt n straps from 150 onwards
70 x 5
112 x 5
132 x 3
154 x 2
174 x 1
194 x 1
214 x 1
231.5 x 1 PB
239 x F didnt brake floor
239 x F failed just under knees, oly shoes for this set

bit of a weird one, most sets were quite fast pulls for the load but even the 150 set made me feel light headed afterwards n every set from there on. so in 1 way warm ups felt s**t but speed wise they felt good Confused

the 231.5 was the only really slow pull, wasnt hitched but id say that was my limit without hitching (at least today it was anyway, hopeful id do better on a lucky/perfect day)

thought id do some squats to warm up a bit 1st as i knew i was sacking the assistance off and wanted to try something on them anyway. pretty happy to hit new 1rm altho 239 wud of been nice but cant moan as i came close to f**king training off altogether tonight

EDIT: think the last 2 fails showed oly shoes maybe better for me so will give them a proper try n see how it goes

Bad news on a crap day bud, it sucks. Nice deadlift PB there tho and strong benching the other day too mate!

thanks guys.

owen i started adding the extra that my plates are over by, works out at 4kg with collars. i thought if i count 2.5kg (2x1.25 plates) why not count 4kg.
