thanks Andy, id definately say the weight has helped on everything except deadlift really.

my plan at start of year was to get upto 90kg ish but keep my lifts in the same ratio to BW. for example my squat was 2 x BodyWeight @ 80kg, now its 2 x BW @ nearly 90kg, deadlift 2.5 x BW etc, n most lifts have followed that trend.

thanks guys. sam i maybe cud of doubled it but im always happy to leave a bit in tank for next time, i was more than happy with 1.

vausie a bit of everything really, some family issues meaning i cant fully focus on it, also money and transport are the main factors. there not stopping me from doing it as i cud always sell something if i was that assed n go on public transport but im not that bothered. i didnt want to feel pressured (by myself) to train for it n keep a good diet etc, i just wanted to relax with training n not follow a plan as such n do wot i fancy up til new year instead of breaking my balls with events every week. i wasnt planning on qualifying so id already made my own plans, like focus on static lifts n whilst iv not been doing events n feeling burnt out iv been able to press more times a week and feel fresher for my lower body days aswell. so thats why im not too bothered that i cant do it.

well feel a bit s**t as iv got flu. had less than 4hours kip n food hasnt been 100% (still had a decent appetite n managed an ok amount of scoff just not as much as normal). so decided to go a bit lighter than planned n work on speed for 3x3.....

deadlifts
70 x 5
110 x 5
130 x 3
150 x 3
170 x 3
170 x 3
170 x 10 - PB i think

fort id go for all out on last set as it didnt feel too bad. very happy considering.

side ups (2 wide, 2 close) x 4 sets of 5

100 x 20 - chalk

better than expected as i feel well s**t, the first 170 felt slow n tough so decided that wud be the work weight for today. had a new training partner whos just getting back into it hence starting light n pyramiding with assistance. done in 90mins which is quicker than usual for me
