Decided to start a new journal. Dropped about 10kg bodyweight over last few months and hopefully got my personal s**t in order. Time for a fresh start

First real lifting since dropping weight. Hope to keep it up this time!

Bit of road walking when I can for cardio. In all honesty been a bit lazy on that front recently. As for volume, not sure what your getting at. Do you feel I need more?

Without wanting to sound like a dick, I thought you wanted to lose a little weight? I'd have done more volume to up 1.) the overall calories burnt during training and 2.) increase basal metabolic rate through the increased volume and possibly more muscle mass.

Fair enough, those are just my work sets though and the reps on my last 3 excercises were exceptionally low last night. What would you recommend to increase volume? More sets/higher reps?

Been feeling rough all day, thought id just get on with it anyway.

Started warming up on deadlifts...maybe I should have warmed up a bit slower or maybe im just s**t tonight, pulled my hamstring on 140kg warm up set. Tried to stretch it and warm it up some more but no good. Got temperature and banging head too now

Feeling proper rough today. Little more positive than last night though, just gutted that i seem to keep hitting bumps in the road and cant seem to get back into training.
I think im struggling with motivation maybe I need to set some new goals or maybe i should just focus on cardio or similar for a bit? Either way i need to do something challenging but achievable i think

Still feeling rough with this bloody virus, hope it will have cleared by tuesday. Might have to force myself into some cardio tomorrow though...

Very short and not so sweet, got into the gym 20 mins before closing so had very little time to play with. Yust glad to be feeling a lot better

Struggled tonight, felt weak but still matched last week. In the process of fixing up our existing flat this last week or so, and moving into new house this weekend. Exciting but tiring!

Pretty bad on the squats, but again left it a long time. It was the depth that killed them as i found it painfull to get depth even on warm ups

Weight down to 128kg, closing in on my target of 125kg!
