Go on mate! Ace Happyi failed 100 c&j fookin loads today, but i knew it was f**king there, just MTFU and do the c**t! Then you do it and its like christmas x10000000000. I need to do lots of work on everything but im ready.

BTW, does your body feel absolutely f**ked after an oly session? i think im going to die Grin Roll-Eyes

Cheers guys! I really couldn't ask for more after such a nightmare 6 weeks of fannying around!

Looks like I've come back lighter and stronger so I'm delighted! Just need to tidy my tech up on snatches and not bottle it with heavy weights and I really think I could do 100. When I watch vids the height I'm getting is excessive if anything! Lots of pocket snatches, snatch balances and OH squats are in order!

To qualify for English I need 227 approx 100/127 and this becomes my only goal in lifting for the foreseeable!!

Owen, yes they're tiring but you get used to it Happy you're going to be mad good now you've got some actual coaching!

It would pass in a comp but there's loads to fix. My main issue is being able to get into a full squat position with the heavy weights. I'm focusing so much on finishing my pull I forget the cach bit!

Also need to be a lot tighter from the floor...

Actually power snatched the 88. I don't feel comfortable getting low but my line was decent so the bar was jumping high enough. Lots and lots of snatch balance needed me thinks!

Snatch Pull; high hang snatch; pause at the bottom of the catch

Fails were due to lack of flexibility in the bottom, not losing it forward like normal! This is something I can fix. Actually caught the 80 like a full snatch although it was a tad spazzy...

SQUAT then! You always seem to do the lifts first (which isnt a bad thing) But have some squat/strength days, and do the lifts afterwards. Swapping exercises always makes 1 harder than the other and vice versa but your body will adapt. Like you say, why would you wanna get pinned with a clean?

(easy for me to say Grin as i FS 70kg more than i can power clean haha. I wish id get pinned with a clean ) Tongue

Nah, my squat's going up, albeit bit by bit, and I'm getting better at the lifts. That's my priority.

I squat 3 times a week and it's going up along side my lifts. The 121 clean I've done recently was fine and if I get to a point where I'm above 130 (bear in mind I need to jerk it too...) then I'll do a bigger drive to get my fronty up. I think it's all on the up so won't change anything for a while! Grin
