a PB is a PB ! Member 539, 1086 posts | What is the strongest over the counter pain relief you guys all use? I believe Co-Codomol is one of the strongest and i have used it on occasions of real lightening pain. Anything stronger without prescription, apart from taking more than the reccomended dosage! Cheers.

Why don't you address the underlying issues?

Co-dydramol (stronger codeine: paracetamol ration than co-codamol) and tramadol are the ones you're most likely to come in to contact with. Max dose combination for over the counter painkillers would be: Co-codamol (8/500) 2 tablets, 4 times a day (no more) & Ibuprofen 200mg, 2 tablets 3 times a day. If you use just paracetamol and ibuprofen, go with paracetmol 500mg, 2 tablets 4 times a day and ibuprofen 200mg 3 times a day.
