Mark Kerr in his prime. He beat Josh Barnett in ADCC, scary back in the day, great highlight. Also an avid powerlifter, reminds me a bit of A Overeem, in his presence.

Yes mate, I know his old stuff was amazing. His grappling was very underrated, he beat monsters like Josh Barnett and Ricardo Almeida. He also seems very well spoken and educated. Hate watching his later fights.

Kerr was immense when he was roided to the gills. He put on some sick displays of ground and pound.
His documentary makes for a very interesting watch.

kirkynick said:Kerr and Randleman were great back in the day.

Randleman could have been so much better though, but never really adapted his fight game to keep up with the times. Unbelievable athlete though.

The video is very sad to watch, I think the music on the doc does it for me. 100% a pioneer, more so for the wrestlers and adapting it to the fight game, crazy when you hear his brother saying that he knew MArk could wrestle and was doubtful about his fighting ability, that sure changed (lol). Apprently he works as a car salesman, he will always hav my respect.

Interesting story, my mate Mike hung out with Randleman a few years back when he was out with the Dream promotion. He said he's a very down to earth friendly guy, bit of party animal but sound all the same. Would love to have seen him with better cardio, apparently he had all the tools to become one of the greatest fighters of all time, watch Fedor v Randleman, vey class, Fedor is still my favourite.

Nooo?? I would love to meet him. I don't know how he keeps so calm and relaxed, I wonder if he ever thought about olympic judo. I think because his background is Sambo, probably made sense, money wise for him to fight mma with the massive pay outs in Pride. With his Poker face, you would never see it coming (lol). Nothing more scary than him getting suplexed and almost breaking his neck, then he ude-garami's him WTF?? Amazing.
