Nah I paused 160kg last summer, just had some shoulder issues. I reckon I'll pause 170-180kg soon enough. I usually just don't bother with TNG as I'm weak off the chest. EGO LIFTING.Grin

Good session. Just need a few more days rest on the bench before it bounces back. Will start back light and build up. Squat just needs to be worked again. I have to olympic squat 250kg this year.....then 280kg squat will go. Bodyweight is still 95kg.

What's the Charles Poliquin routine or do you need to spend £1000 on one of his courses to find out the "secret of the super strength"? He seems to be all about marketing his questionable science.

Agreed but alot of what he does say is useful. I also call him captain bulls**t aswell so take what you like from that. The programs basic premise is batter yourself for 2 weeks and then rest for 5 days. I prefer to use a synatic facilitation approach with it (not as much variation) and go to a certain drop off (auto-regulation) so I know roughly how long to rest for and when to come back.

I am tampering with it at the moment as I need it to suit my hypertrophy goals as I'm too tall and skinny.
