FatHubble Pec Tear!!

Think ive torn my pec today! I was benching and literally felt and heard a tear.. just in A+E now to see if it is or not..

For the people who have torn there pec or know people who have, could you please tell me rough recovery times and the whole procedure etc..

sorry to hear that mate, hope its just a bad pull.

But when mine went, it did not hurt much, that is not the measurement of the damage (nerve ends go with it), but if i laid back, as in on my back, i could not raise my arm when having it straight, because the pec tendon is used in that action.

Also you should see it when looking in the mirror. If it is a tendon thing, you can see your arm pit being much higher and looser than the other side Happy

its f**king s**t but not terminal, you will be back if you so wish. My recovery time was unnecessarily long for obvious reasons...

but as i said, hope its not a full tear type of thing.

(benching sucks)

cheers for that Joni.. Doctors said its obly a small muscle tear that should repair itself within 4 weeks or so.. lucky really..

Get well soon. I've heard that it can be hideously sore. It happened to one of my old training partners and we heard the crack.
