Yeah there is one of those at the junction. Its rather bent now though - much nicer than a texas bar for cleans though.

I got my texas bar off richards so was pretty cheap.

I would not get this one if you intend to shift any weight. We got 2, and one is still fine because it has never been used for anything heavy. The other one bent over my back practicing squat walkouts. You would be much better investing in a texas power bar, which if you look after it will last decades

Sports an extremely muscular arse. Member 38, 6253 posts | Yep, I'd agree with this too get the TPB. I started off with a cheapo bar a few years ago when I set up my home gym, I ended up bending a few bars over the years until I finally invested in a TPB. I should have just got a TPB to start with.

Member 1736, 25 posts SQ 220, BP 150, DL 220590.0 kgs @ 100kgs UnEq | how about benches and plates, im looking at the adjustable bench from gymratz at £340 and the tri grip plates from fitness superstore. any advice on another bench to consider or plates, fitness superstore has 20kg plates for £25, i couldnt find any cheaper but am concerned with the design and whether they would break when deadlifting.

Member 1000, 125 posts | Hello mate I got my plates off ebay, had to play a bit of a waiting game to find good deals but I definitely payed less that a £1/kg and a got a couple of bars thrown in with some of them (not great ones but still). I also got a Watson's bench off ebay for £120 ish, played an even longer waiting game for this so guess it depends on how much of a hurry you're in. Cheers

Either that or some muppet dropped it on pins. Cant remember now. Great bar though
