Anyone in the mobile industry who has had a peek and can give us a few spoilers etc ahead of the launch next week. It is being referred to as the next galaxy but is rumoured to be the galaxy s3

It is available to pre-order on the German Amazon portal.

From the inside info I've received (I recruit for the likes of CPW, O2 and Everything Everywhere) it will be the SGS III

BUT

It's too similar to the iPhone 4 / iPhone 4S upgrade - i.e. nothing really that amazing!

It'd still rather have the Galaxy Note and wait for the office ICS update Grin

Lol, the HTC One X is pretty solid. In only a few days we will know which is the King of Androids.

It will be between the galaxy S3 and the galaxy note for me - and the S3 will have to be quite special to sway me away from the Note. I'm just hoping the price of the Note goes down a few bob after the S3 in announced (currently around £380-400 on amazon).

You can pick up the Galaxy Notes for closer to £300 on eBay and AVForums if you keep your eyes peeled!

Got one for my mother in lay at £310 inc RMSD and it was a brand new/sealed phone from an O2 upgrade!

After a few months with my galaxy note there's no turning back - I'll never be able to have a Normal sized phone again! But apart from the fat finger friendly size, its very good, can't fault it in any way. Brilliant bit of kit.

Had the note for 3 weeks now, really really like it. Had a HTC desire before for 2 years really solidly built phone but now when I see people's normally sized phones (iphones, desires etc) I just can't get my mind round using such a small screen again.

If I could get another inch on my screen I would take it makes browsing much nicer.

I laughed at the serial scammer warning on the Avforums. I wouldn't really go for a Galaxy Note but I can spot a few on Amazon for £389.

The S2's price has dropped and it is available on contract for as little as £18.81 per month.

A friend of mine had been using a 7" Galaxy Tab as his phone for a couple of years now. Does make sense for the increasingly typical user who hardly ever talks on it but does a lot of internet stuff.

I've toyed with the idea myself, but the note is on the limits of pocket size, so a 7" tablet seems like it would be a bit of a hassle to carry around

I should get one of those 7" tablet things. I have a HTC Desire HD and I love the bigger screen because I don't spend long talking on the phone but a f**k load of time on here and other sites on it.
