I'm taking a week off then i was going to do an opens comp in April then the bodypower opens in May but i'll probably not do them now and just concentrate on my static gym strength.
I'm also contemplating knocking the 105's on the head and just doing naturals comps as i had an eye opener yesterday. But i'll decide for certain later on.

do them Simon comp experience is always good and gives you focus.

Youre right but i feel i need to work on my weaknesses, especially overhead, and give my arm a chance to heal, and my heads not in it at the moment but i'll decide later on in the week.

your a good Strongman competitor and trainer in general ad you put the graft in.
but i suppose if you work you weaknesses and maintain you many good events then you'll be even better than you already am

Thanks Ben mate, to be honest with you mate i'm leaning towards the naturals in France, but if you held britains on saturday i could do both.
Wink

Thats fair enough mate, you're an awesome natural competitor and the opportunity to showcase that at the Worlds is a great (just a shame about the bias in the events and the special stone only the organiser gets to use!).

2nd is a very good result mate, as the events kinda stacked it against you.

It has however forced you to hammer your weaknesses, and you will be an even better Strongman for it, well done mate.

Thanks Davy, I'll be trying the Russian masters for strict press or strict log next.

Well done mate, different events would have a different outcome, your static lifts are going up all the time, when they are on par with your mobility, which they will be, then you will be very difficult to beat.

Exactly how i see it Simon.Top effort considering the events , and it has certainly done you no harm hammering 18" deads and the likes long term.

As for running the russian masters routine for overhead , that is exactly what i have been contemplating , i even spoke to Davy about it in Aberdeen yesterday a little.I think it could be very beneficial for you if you can keep with the volume weeks pal.

Chin up m8 Happy
