thanks folks, that did come out of the blue! but i guess it was expected with all the practise on push presses session after session, plus all the overhead work with dumbells, barbell and most notably the log.

More to come? For sure, now the 105kg was a shock in hands, but that will be fixed soon.

jonny, i am actually just doing the push press for speed and technique work - and the log is where the PBs are nailed Thats the plan anyway. I dont really have any hunger for nailing PBs on push presses, they are just an assistance exercise for log, viking press and axle press in the end of the day

1x200 - bad form, but weight doesnt feel too bad on my back
3x180 - messed up the bar positioning and made this one really ugly and hard
3x180 - much better

back very tired so left it there.

Narrow grip pulldowns

6x140 (stack) - first time i have done the stack
6x140 + 10kg plate - rom starting to get iffy
"6" "x" 140 + 25kg plate - very small rom, but got some movement there Grin

Nah i am not so strict about the depth now to be honest since there are no PL comps coming up in foreseeable future. The good ones are within an inch, bad ones higher, the odd one hits the depth as well, and some disasterous ones are just a nip with a good morning Grin

Strongman training today!

Didn't make any of my main goals, but still made a good number of PBs. Goals were: load 150kg stone, 110kg farmers for 40m and 130kg for 20. Not happy about todays performance, eventhough now looking at it it looks solid. Have to aim high though and never be content Wink

Log press
2x3x67.5
2x75
2x82.5
1x90 - flew up, up until this point i was not feeling good about my log press, but this one was a joke.
f,fx97.5

1x97.5kg - New PB!
6x80

100kg will fall soon, would have already had it been on the bar.

farmers walks
40mx30
40mx70
30mx110 - new pb, but was 10m short of the goal
16mx130 - new pb, but was 4m short of the goal

stones, 4.5ft platform
1x105
1x130
1x140 - so much stronger than last week
fx150 - not even off the floor
lap x 150 - but no chance
lap x 150 - too heavy for today

several places very sore now Happy

plan next week: 5x105 stone, and work up from there.

cheers man! Have to evaluate what i will do next week, all i know i want to rep stones, rather than heavy singles.

Edited the farmers walk, 110kg was for 30m not 35m!

pain is pretty damn bad mate - i am so happy i have till tuesday to recover.

My wife keeps asking me how long can you keep doing this to your body... good point Wink

I've left couple crucial entries out from my log lately. Like on friday i hit the pool, did 16 lengths and hardcore 40 mins of jacuzzi. This morning i went and swam few lengths to loosen up and did 25 mins of jacuzzi - feel MUCH better already, just what i needed.

all i know i am in agony i cant havea epsom bath had an alternate shower done something for my back i have to say but f**k me im in soo much pain seriously thinking of just coming up from london for the day to train was quality
