New journal Happy

It would suit me better if this journal was more of a summary of my sessions, rather than a detailed log of ALL my lifting antics. If I want to go silent or not mention stuff I can!

As many will know I've developed a zercher addiction! My training style is lazy, usually consisting of 2 sessions per week. Volume and reps are LOW!

Current PBs

Squat (RAW) - 227.5
Dead lift - 261 Roll-Eyes
Silver dollar dead lift - 400
Zercher squat - 200
Zercher lift - 191
Front squat - 190
Strict press - 112.5 barbell, 113 log
Push press - 137
Log - 125.5
Power clean - 120

I'm a RAW lifter. A belt is purely cleaning shelf in my world!

Looking after my body is high on my list of priorities, and I like to stick to exercises that I consider to be "safe". I have had a troublesome sacroiliac joint for some time, although it's been a little less troublesome lately. Zercher squats/lifts have become my main strength movements, because they don't aggravate my problem area at all. Back squats will sometimes be trained, but dead lifts will be uncommon.

Feel free to contribute Happy

Oh Mr Wayne, a quite simply fantastic journal title, but you forgot 'bully'! Happy
I've yet to do a full Zercher and I'm not sure how to go about it. Do you have any pinhole camera footage?

I thought you'd like the title Happy

Here's me doing a 190 full zercher lift....

The down phase of the lift could have been a little tidier.

That really is cool as f**k!!!!!! I wonder why I haven't seen it before. Anyway, I'm inspired. I shall go to bed now and tomorrow I shall think 'zercher'.

Good luck Happy

But if I had a 152.5 kg Bench Press, I'd be sure to include it in my PB's list Wink

I wondered when that deliberate omission was going to be noticed!

Haha. Is your silver dollar deadlift a typo? Because 400 kg is mega impressive!

Not a typo! I did it in a comp, winning that particular event, and got accused of being a "glory hunter" as a result! Roll-Eyes

My dwarfism gave me a big advantage on that event!

It was beltless Cool

Didn't want to do anything too taxing, because I'm training with 2 workmates day after tomorrow.

POWER CLEANS from just below knees

70 x 2
70 x 2
100 x 2
100 x 2
100 x 2

CHEST SUPPORTED ROW MACHINE

3 sets of 5

PLATE PINCHING

Crap! Need to make sure I do this at least once a week.

That's still 25 reps total, not including the plate pinching!! Too much volume can't be a good thing Mr Wayne.

15 of them were performed seated, so I don't think I overdid it Happy
