craigmanc | Biggest Loser star Angie Dowds found dead | 23-11-2011 @ 14:54
not much fun Member 374, 3172 posts | Award-winning trainer Angie Dowds from ITV series ‘The Biggest Loser’ has been found dead after apparently jumping to her death from the cliffs at Beachy Head. Local police confirmed today that Angie Dowds, 42, was found dead on the beach near Eastborune, East Sussex. She had battled drink and drugs most of her life and had recently split from her partner Corrie Preece, who she was engaged to. ‘Biggest Loser’ presenter Davina McCall paid tribute via Twitter saying, “Rest in peace Angie Dowds. So so sad.” Ms Dowds had won a Personal Trainer of the Year award in 2006. A police spokesman said, “Just after 4.30pm on Sunday members of the public reported that a woman was seen to jump or fall from the top of cliffs at Beachy Head. Coastguards found the body of woman at the foot of the cliffs about an hour later. “There are no suspicious circumstances and it is believed that the body may be that of a 42-year old woman from London.”

normal people, like me. Member 2325, 550 posts | A mate of mine who works in the industry pointed this out to me earlier on today. He also mentioned that the Daily Mail have now changed their original online headline which read: "Lesbian trainer kills herself". The horrible bas***ds that they are.

Agreed, but, the majority of peoples stresses (discounting friends and relative possible ill health), come from "normal" day to day life, and financial pressures associated with a "normal" life I would be willing to bet a considerable amount of money, that depression is a more regular occurence in families on sub £40,000 per year, than those over say £250,000 per year
