a large fingered spastic that demolishes plant Member 89, 31706 posts SQ 260, BP 220, DL 290 770.0 kgs @ 142kgs UnEq	if every body was on a 18% tax or less something like what they have in the isle of man then we would all be better off. fat cat MP's MSP's with all there recoverable costs at our expense and what about the rich in some cases they payed less tax than there cleaner's which is f**king shameful. if there was a set rate up to a certain level would this not benefit every body. and did you know that britain is still one of the biggest borrowers of money in the world which stumps me in how much we get screwed over here on tax.

The tax hike is due to there apparently being a tax shortfall over the past 3 years. I now have a single figure tax code. bas***dS.

Apparently I paid a shortfall in 2006-2007 and they're taking it back from my personal allowance too. It was only something stupid like a £100 underpayment, so I'll notice fk-all difference each month. You must have royally underpaid taxes to have nearly your whole personal allowance for this year wiped out!

I seem to be so hit and miss its unreal, the are also playing havoc with my shoulders. I think this is probably because I'm upright rowing it. Putting it overhead was hurting and the session took me over one and a half hours. Think I'm going soft, everything seems to hurt at the moment.
