Hopefully you will feel ready by then, you should go for it anyway for the experience and its not going to be uber-heavy... bit of event testing Sunday and then hopefully release the events next week.

Nice one mate, think I might give it a bash. Like u say will be a good experience and hopefully will be at a point where events are doable.

Also it'll be sommet to kick start the training to a new level Happy

Not too bad a session. Have to say for the future may not do every deload week and let my body say if/when its required. Whilst its good to do it to let muscles relax a little but feel its a wasted week at times.

Happy with this session. Was quite tired going in so wasn't expecting anything great so to manage the 207.5 x 5 is excellent Happy. Actually felt pretty s**t going in but was buzzing when finished and took a risk increasing weights by more than originally planned, but it paid off, awesome Grin

Seated Shoulder Press
bar x 12
60kg x 5
75kg x 5
85kg x 5
95kg x 5
Felt pretty good with these, reckon a 6th on 95 was do-able but didn't want to risk it.

Close Grip Bench
40kg x 15
50kg x 15
55kg x 15
60kg x 15
65kg x 15
These felt good, may be able to up the weights alittle

65kg x 10
70kg x 10
75kg x 10
80kg x 10

Tricep Pressdown
20kg x 10

30kg x 10
35kg x 10

These felt almost easy, was shocked really, could up these alittle.

11mins HIIT on x-trainer

Have to say this was a pretty good session Happy

Cheers Boar, yeah was considering it, enjoyed the salt ayre classic so this should be good.

Sounds like a good option mate, don't have to drive and u don't have to worry if u get sick of the rowing, making 105 much better and less stressful for ya than 90 Happy

Squat

60kg x 5
100kg x 5
140kg x 5
Belt on
162.5kg x 5
185kg x 5
These went ok but were a major grind as always.

Front Squat
60kg x 10
65kg x 10
70kg x 10
72.5kg x 10
75kg x 10

SLDL
60kg x 10
70kg x 10
75kg x 10
80kg x 10
85kg x 10

Calf Raises
60kg x 10
70kg x 10
80kg x 10
bodyweight x 100

Typical leg session, not disasterous but still never feel right when doing them. On the plus side I ended up increasing the weight (going against my plans) and felt I hit depth good across the board, bit too much on a couple and almost went beyond the point of no return (or no standing up with the weight). Toom arisk going higher but has paid off alittle as managed everything so that part is defo a positive.

40lbs x 12
50lbs x 12
60lbs x 12
