After some thieving c**t recently walked off with the belt i got off Buzz a few months back i'm now in a position to get a replacement. Apart from the ones available through Strength Shop are there any others it would be worth looking at and what are the benefits, if any, to belts with a lever fastening.

Cheers

i have 5 belts, 2 strength shop ones 2 inzer ones and a mega old one with no brand on it.
but a single prong Strength shop, inzer or zulu glove belt would be a good buy IMO

http://www.inzernet.com/detail_belt.asp?PRODUCT_ID=FOREVERBELT...
this one would be a good one IMO

http://www.zuluglove.com/powerlifting-belt--defcon-evolution-p...

I've got a 13mm Inzer forever lever belt and they are the best you can buy.

I got mine from Andy Bolton, but I don't think he still sells them.

I've had a Zulu Glove belt for almost three years and it's a damn good belt.

If you go for the Inzer single prong belt the cheapest place I found to get them from was http://monstermuscle.com/store/index.php?p=product&id=631

Works out $109.60 with shipping to the UK, which is around £70.90. But then allow an extra £20(ish) for customs.

But if you need either the XXL or XXXL you can get it from http://www.discount-supplements.co.uk/training-accessories-tra... for £71.95. They call it the house of pain belt, but I was told this is just because they are not an official Inzer Supplier. But it would be worth checking with them about this before you bought it.

I got exactly the same belt from Andy Bolton about 5 years ago and it's just as good today as the day I bought it. The best bit of kit I ever bought!

ah right no worrys i was just going to say avoid one with large logos if you were going to compete in gbpf

i would recommend a belt to stay clear of the pullam sports own brand lever belt i blew mine out on an equipped squat the buckle just shot apart into little fragments
