In the middle of my deload week did a bench session to see if the mojo was really back or if it was just a fluke the other day!
The mojo is back in full effect

Strong stuff Rob, awesome vid.

I must say I am a little suprised by the push pressing, would have imagined 120 for sets of 5 would be easy for someone with your leg strength and pressing power... then again, a) I suppose push press really isn't important to you and b) You had just benched 170x5, 140x8 and lots of heavy DB incline...

Awesome stuff Roberto,

Not bad for a "deload week".

P.S There is nothing wrong with using an inhaler.

Cheers fellas, the sympathy regarding my heavy breathing is unwarranted!
I actually feel bad now because I don't actually have an inhaler or suffer with asthma!

The push press I was just horsing around with, I've never done it before really but may chuck it in on deload weeks for good just to have a crack.
I was seriously impressed by James Wards video of 125kg x 5 push press, that is some savage weight for reps!

Yeah, I assumed you were just messing around with them. If a weak chump like me can manage 100kg x 5 then i'm sure that you'll be capable of a ridiculous amount.

100 x 5 is really impressive mate, I honestly think I would struggle with it!
Theres a chance this may replace my db shoulder press for the next phase.
I see your bodyweights on the way up, keep eating son!!

Do you think there's much carry over from push press to bench? Weightlifting moves are all technique after all!

Last Couple Of Training Sessions
Tuesday
Equipped Squat + Chains (30kg @ Top) x 1 @ 300,310 (All of these were about 3 inches high the suit was pretty tight, hopefully will get down next week)
Deadlift (Belt Only) x1 @ 280,290
Bench Press + Chains (20kg @ Top) x1 @ 160,165,170

Today
Equipped Bench Loose Shirt + Chains x1 @ 200,202.5
Reverse Band Box Squats (Greens) x1 @ 240,260,280
Reverse Band Deadlift (loose Suit Straps up) x1 @ 300,320 (grip is working, the last rep caught on my joggers but the grip didn't falter!)

Really looking forward to this phase and then the english hopefully it will see me in good shape for the Worlds.
Oh and Steve, don't really think the push press will help the bench massively but its all good general training stim I suppose.
Hope your well mate
