Would be nice if it was 60kg to start with. At least they've got a loadable yoke now- i had to train on the old one, it was 250kg empty (not sure if you'd tried it, they scrapped it a while back) Almost killed me! | ||

embarrasingly poor bench Member 2684, 4043 posts SQ 240, BP 135, DL 275650.0 kgs @ 103kgs UnEq | Was gonna go down and watch the FITT strongman comp at the beach in Aberdeen today only to find out that it had been cancelled due to adverse weather (which it appeared consisted of nothing more than it being a wee bit breezy and some drizzle)this morning so I decided to train instead. Deadlifts: Warmups up to 150kg 170kg X 5 180kg X 3 200kg X 5 rep PB 220kg X 1 230kg X fail, think I'm getting a bit of a mental block about deadlifting anything over 230kg as I've failed any time I've tried it in the past few weeks. I'm just gonna give up on trying it for a while until I'm doing reps with 220kg and then give it another go. Bent Over Rows: 100kg X 4 sets of 6 Seated Cable Rows: 90kg X 4 sets of 10 Hammer Curls: 20kg X 4 sets of 5 Just went through the motions really after deadlifting was finished but still a solid enough session. | ||

Viking Press: 80kg X 4 sets of 6 Circus DB: 40kg X 3 sets of 5 on both arms. gave up after this as the gym got so busy people were literally tripping over one another. This is why I hate going after 6PM. | ||

Got the suit today for a comp I was due to compete in a week on Saturday which was subsequently cancelled due to lack of numbers but thought I might as well try it out anyway. Found it quite awkward at first but got the hang of it and hit 240kg fairly comfortably so rather pleased with the days lifting. Vid of the Deadlifts: | ||

Btw to embed a video on here you have to modify the url a little http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lU3yevjWpGM say that is the link then you just take the last part after the equals sign. lU3yevjWpGM and that goes into the video tags (make sure there is no space) (youtube)lU3yevjWpGM(/youtube) is how it will look if you do it right , obviously with the squared brackets instead of the rounded 1s i used so you could see | ||
