SLDL felt really crap so left it at 70kg. Plus side tho my knee isn't giving me as much trouble with squatting lately | ||

he who does the volume wins Member 2498, 3652 posts SQ 160, BP 125, DL 225510.0 kgs @ 109kgs UnEq | 28/08/2011 Event session at Salt Ayre Log Warm up with oly bar x 15 70kg x 3 80kg x 2 90kg x 1, tough rep, nearly didn't get it, got it above head but then dropped a few inches followed by strict press so closer to 1.5 reps 95kg x F Yoke 130kg x 20m 210kg x 20m 12" Deadlift 50kg x 8 90kg x 5 130kg x 3 Belt on 170kg x 2 210kg x 2 230kg x 1 tough, cheap Pb as never done deadlift from 12" 240kg x F, not even close Sled Pull using harness 100kg x 15m, Hixxy's fault this, he said 'do u want a go', rude to say no Farmers 100kg x 30 (15 drop 15) Stones Lifts to 48" (belt on and tape round forearms, no tacky except what was on the stone) 90kg, first time tried so Pb 120kg fail 120kg newer Pb 135kg fail, got it a few inches, didn't feel right, prob better with tacky. All in all good session, still s**t at Log and yoke, deadlift ok, will do 180kg for comp!! Farmers tough pick as always but then grip felt rock solid. Very happy with first stone attempts, cheers Shane for suggesting a bash at it . | ||

All 3 went up pretty easily really and then I stoppped, but 4-5 reps would have defo been doable, but cause i had 3 reps in my head I stopped, bit of a psychological cock up by me there Goodmornings 60kg x 12 65kg x 12 70kg x 12 72.5kg x 12 75kg x 12 Weighted crunches on gravity force trainer 35% x 15 40% x 15 45% x 15 50% x 15 55% x 15 Barbell curls 20kg x 10 25kg x 10 27.5kg x 10 30kg x 10 32.5kg x 10 All in all one of my best sessions ever, made even better considering I got out of bed, got changed and trained due to being on late shift. Shoulder press went better than I thought aswell which is a major plus. | ||
