a.k.a. Kick Ass Show Joe Member 526, 1071 posts | 160kg Farmers Walk for 13 metres.. After doing a couple of 105kg comps I'm going to attempt to do a couple of Open comps. So after doing these Famers today, just wondering if I could get feed back on what sort of standard im at compared to other open comps?

Member 340, 13300 posts SQ 315, BP 190, DL 350855.0 kgs @ 110kgs UnEq | Nice work Joe, not worrying about your weight and just getting stuck into your training seems to de suiting you well. Looking forward to seeing you compete at The SA Classic in this kind of mood and form. 160 is solid even at open level.

a.k.a. Kick Ass Show Joe Member 526, 1071 posts | Post Edited: 20.08.2011 @ 13:20 PM by FatHubble Cheers guys.. This is the first time ever tried 160kg on farmers so just gotta keep nailing them.My training going through the roof now I've decided to go to open weight Ben. It just feels so much better to not have to worry about keeping it low. Im not built as a 105 and it just kept annoying losing the weight which in turn lost me about 15% of my strength.. Really looking forward to the SA Classic Smalls... Suck a fat one. Oh.. And I've hit an all time Bodyweight PB of 120kg and at 21 years old.. I reckon there's plenty of time to get some solid weight on

Glorious spam Member 1563, 3961 posts SQ 180, BP 130, DL 260570.0 kgs @ 90kgs UnEq | didn't realise you were 21! farmers looked good, seen in your journal that your deadlift aint far off 300kg and got good numbers going ftoh too. i would defo say go for opens and embrace the weight, loads of time to improve. train hard/smart u could be competing at WSM in a few years!

left the country satisfied Member 10, 19241 posts SQ 240, BP 150, DL 270660.0 kgs @ 107kgs UnEq | had you accepted the invitation to the 105 UKs you could have tried 160 farmers in the end of the deadlift medley, as 6th event of the day, one of which is 150 farmers for 20m... crazy!

a.k.a. Kick Ass Show Joe Member 526, 1071 posts | Cheers guys.. Spam up - I've deadlifted 300kg now. I'm hoping to do a couple of reps on it in my next comp if all goes well.. Ye, smart training wins. The guys that know me say I'm lazy lol. But the way I see it is I've got decent numbers and have been lifting heavy weight since the age of 13.. Used to be an oly lifter. And to this day i have never had an injury.. Joni - the UK's is crazy mate.. Seems like it's gonna be the man with the most stamina that wins this one not overall strength
