Big fish in a small pond Member 1150, 2101 posts	Alot of the tricks of previous episodes ive wondered how they where possible, and hes had famous people on the show so unless they are plants i would say hes pretty good. What people need to remember is this is deception and hes good at that.

I have to admit, even when the gladiator bloke was doing it , he just didnt seem to be under any tension on the way down , he looked like a guy who hasnt benched befor and its IMPOSSIBLE that dynamo could bench that much (esp with such a long pause !! - touch n go mabie )

Thing thinks he can decide what goes here. He cant Member 354, 1452 posts	Love watching illusionists and he's great with cards but he just can't sell a trick convincingly at all. Its a well known fact that these apparently shocked by standers are in on the trick. Did you see the one with the coin that appeared on guys shoulder? He stood still as statue all the way through so it didn't fall off and it was clearly on his shoulder at the beginning. Can't believe they didn't spot that when they edited it for TV.

When the big black dude was benching the weight my missus (a) noticed that they'd added up the weight wrong and (b) said that the plates must be fake cos of the way the big dude handled the bar and it obviously didn't really weigh anything. She also suggested that only the big dude and Dynamo (and the camera crew) were "in on it" and that it was obvious that Dynamo was about to "bench" a "big" weight and that the other guys would probably be genuinely shocked. Bearing in mind my missus doesn't lift weights, I'd say that's a fairly damning indictment of the trick, which was a bit f**king gash! It also made me know why I married her!
