He doesn't need to be aggressive at all, that's just silly. As for the 'past vertical' statement, no, he certainly does not have to be past vertical, hyperextension at the top of the deadlift is dangerous. He just needs to actually stand up. I'm not sure if your 'looks like you need to be on a heavier weight' was a joke bit that is not the case, learning correct form is his first port of call. | ||

Its Hounslow, I only went there on a one off and can't say I recommend it if you're into serious training. There was only 220 kg of plates, by the time I'd worked up to a 190 deadlift we had guys asking how much long we would be using the plates for so that they could bench! | ||
