Not read any of the thread, but I picked 5-6 of those events with Millsy last week....no suprises whatsoeva

Great events, but to say that suit Paul is an understatement IMO

Very puzzled as to why you have to walk 5m (with a heavier frame than some lads failed to move last year) in a deadlift medley

A 275 axle will be tough I reckon Ben! Especially after other grip taxing events, but I could be wrong.
For the guys who do need to use straps, the fact it is timed whilst there putting them on is still a bit poor imo

Ive tried 3 axles and my grip has been different on each one, appolons felt easy to grip, an axle bar where you just add plates felt slightly harder and finally the one i have at home has fixed wheels with tyres and that feels alot harder grip wise, seems to spin a bit when your reaching lock out, i failed 245kg last time i tried it.

I'd say practise with an axle closest to the one you'l be using.

275 should be a peanut for you mate - seriously.

Fresh, I definitely agree

6th event after arm-arm (with a very thick rope), max axle, and farmers????........I'm not so sure!

Never (ever) seen such a grip heavy comp

Grin Grin

Can't see Robbo having any trouble with a 275 axle.

These farmers, what are they like exactly? Like the WSM ones? If so, what are THEY like? Are they fat handled?

Robbo is a grip beast - he'll smash that no problems.

Olly/Smalls - I'll be in Benalmadena from the 20th - 30th August.

Oh yeah we've got a kid with one knee but awesome grip and hands like monkeys

Takes podium

Would prove some points being made about it being the most grip dominant comp in Britain

Still would love to take part, watch or be part of a training partners build up to this comp

I, with my rolling thunder of 60kg and even purer grip endurance would still be f**king buzzing to take part in this monster comp!!!

9 events!!!!!! Hell yeah!!!

Please nobody get injured

I just had that idea so fort I would share it!

All this talk of it being a grip dominant comp (which is totally understandable) kind of puts a taint on this comp for me.

It is a grip dominant comp

No taint from what I can see, we all know the demands of the events put up

Any negative you perceive is totally removed (if you mean by me) when I say I would love to see this or one day take part!!!
