Deadlifts are tearing the calluses on my left hand up, so I need chalk. Neither of the gyms I go to allow chalk, so I need a non-messy, discreet variety.

I've heard good things about My Protein liquid chalk.

Buy blocks of chalk and put it on your hands, no dust bags and no crumbling.

i very rarley use chalk when i'm training but have found that if you rub down your calluses and keep you hand hydrated that they will stay in better nick

it may not be practical for you to do so but I go outside now when I need to chalk my hands. the gym owner doesn't mind chalk but doesn't like mess!

Liquid chalk is good, or buy a block of chalk and keep it in a lunchbox and catch any dust in that, or move to a decent gym that allows chalk.

I use toenail clippers and the missus' finger scraper thing to dig the worst bits of the callouses out. Theyre like a two pronged fork and theyre pretty fookin sharp.
Pumice stone or something like it afterwards smooths them off.

yeah or check your local climbing shops, some of them carry it too. I just bought one for £5 in manchester.

OSG sells them too!

you don't need to use a lot of chalk, no need to make a mess. I use a block and kinda wipe it on.
