not much change thanks Tun for asking though!

got really pissed off today with personal things demotivating me, i got into this training lark and attempting diet so quick and needed little or no motivation to continue until very recently, planned on hitting the gym tomorrow but decided to give it a go today and see how i faired even tho still low etc

Took a pre-WO n.o. scoop in water, thought fcuk it with regards to a whole scoop nearly blowing my head off last time, jumped into the session within 15 mins and all turned out ok, i just hope i can sleep tonight as i'm up at 5am for work

First official attempt at starting to gauge the ABC method figures, based them partly on the last session and partly on what i thought i should be doing/testing etc

workout 1 today
A= up weight next time
B= keep the same next time
C= Lower the weight next time

Squats 3 x 15

vid seems to show rubbish depth, but i really felt good about these, and any lower would have seen me tumble, maybe just me being lanky i dunno!? the 14 rep's occurred due to losing count, i could have done 15! lol
40k x20 +5 reps +10k *A
40k x14 -1 rep +10k *B
40k x14 -1 rep +10k *B

Flat BB Bench Press 3 x 8
40k x11 +3 reps +10k *A
40k x8 +10k *B
40k x8 +10k *B

BB Shoulder Press 3 x 8
25k x9 +1 rep +5k *A
25k x8 +5k *B
25k x8 +5k *B

Wide Grip Pull Up 30 reps - (how ever many sets it takes. When you can do it in 3 sets, add weight)

Still pissed at these, cant do them, slightly demotivating again, had to just do controlled lowering, but this time felt a bit better about even tho i didnt even manage the full 30, main reason being i felt i wasnt jumping up completely, more of a jerk/pull mix into controlled lowering, so using some part of pull effort, maybe why i couldnt manage the full 30

these were ok, vid shows me going a bit low again, certainly not stiff enough to start with, tried to work on this throughout so as the reason for the weights changing so much etc
90k x10 +20k *B

had something better to stand on today, so added some quick weights, need a block or something tho, way too easy

With the depth, if you feel unsafe going lower then I'd say just go as low as you can safely. I'm more than sure that in time, you'll get the flexibility. It took me quite a while to get depth. Your squats are looking much better now.
Deads. Looking good man, I'd say lose the shoes though. They're wobbley because they're designed to compress and flex. Pull that sucker right up the legs and it'll hit the lats hard too!. Training is looking good at the moment though! Keep at it boss you're getting better all the time!

i'd agree on the trainers, and feel thats what was taking the bar forward away from legs, been wanting to get oly shoes as recommended by general ill, just cant get the cash together to get them atm or justify the spend as of yet, i think it will help with pulling up the legs too!
cheers for the encouragemnt, i havent been anywhere near the 3 times a week min sessions id like atm, just struggling personally taking its toll, will try to get some focus going tho

Cheers matey, I have to crack on at least 3-4 times a week even at these piss poor weights if I'm gunna get the physique I desire so much!!!
If I even get there I can try for some strength training then Grin
I'm up in 2.5hrs to work a 12hr shift and can't sleep, thinking of all the s**t I got going on and imagine the N.O. Blast I took preWO is to blame!!

f**k squat shoes, buy a pair of converses or go bare foot like mwa, it'll teach you to heel drive more cos you'll actually feel where the pressure is on your foot lol

i changed from trainers to socks only for squats recently Mike , i reckon it really helps , i guess the only thing oly shoes would have over doing them in socks is a little ankle support ?

will let you know how i get on with them, yeah the oly shoes seem to focus on the heel/ancle area, i'll crack on with the socks for now, the beast that is Boar seems to get on well enough with them, maybe i can lift 200+ deads once i slip them on!? Grin

Good luck when those shoes come. It helps a lot of guys a hell of a lot.
Myself on the otherhand, I wear converse in every discipline. Too cool for school Cool
