First day of the power rack , man it made life easier.

SQUAT
1x10 @ bar
1x5 @ 60kg
1x5 @ 97.5kg
3x5 @ 127.5kg
1x1 @ 150kgPB(felt heavy on the shoulders but had no real issue with the squat itself)

Overhead Press
1x10 @ bar
1x5 @ 50kg
1x5 @ 75kg (only got 4, 5th wasnt even close)
3x5 @ 65kg

Deadlift
1x5 @ 60kg
1x5 @ 107.5kg
1x5 @ 132.5kg
1x5 @ 175kg (pretty tough tonight , felt crap even in the warmups)

Tricep Pulldown SS with CG Bench Press
3x10 @ 32.5kg/70kg (Need to up the weight for the pulldowns and the cg bench)

Incline Situp SS with Pullups
3x20 situps / 3x10 pullups (nailed 10,10,10 on my first night trying these , bit of a surprise cos i thought i was to heavy to be any use at these!)

The cage got its maiden run and it makes life so much easier , my shoulders dont feel nearly as trashed as normal , gonna have to consider adding in some power cleans into the routine though to keep up the work we had been doing previously getting the weights up for squatting Happy

lol what the hell was up with the 30 second pre squat dance, when i seen you do them 1/8th reps i thought that was it and i was gonna be pretty angry, but good job haha

Well it was the first day of the cage , first time i had tried to test what my 1rm was so i was just trying to get a feel for the weight tbh m8 Happy Prior to the cage i never even attempted anything remotely heavy, so it was a feeling out dance really.

ahh, just remember that 30 second jig could cost you a new pr, holding the weight for long is only going to tire your body out faster hehe, keep it up tho bro

1x5 @ 120kg (2 only , expected tbh : gonna keep trying this til i equal my pb)

Glad its the weekend , needing the recovery i think but i bet i will be chomping at the bit looking for Mondays session!

dude when u say press are u using ur legs?if not ur strongggggg.
theres a difference between strict PRESSING, push pressing(driving with legs) and jerking(driving with legs then dipping again)

Errm on Overhead Press day its strict press , the clean and presses were anything goes , but to be fair my push press is s**t atm , gotta prac it im far too reliant on strict press atm.
