Yorkshire strongest man 2011 Under 105

Managed to drop 10.3kgs for this weigh in and put it all back on come sunday

placed 9th. few things i have learned

1) need to get stronger
2) need to train events more
3) be able to transfer my strength into the events

awesome competition now back to training

Deadlifts from 13.5" (worst hieght ever)

Monday's training

Overall a good session but my Shoulders and triceps felt tired and obviously hadn't recovered enough after saturday.

Log
worked up to 115 and missed it a few time
but did some good work with 105kgs and 110kgs
lockout needs a lot of work

Incline log press with 9" diameter log

Deadlift day

Floor pulls
Testing out my newly sugared deadlift suit Happy
Very hard to get on and even harder to touch the bar.... This will take a fair few weeks to get used to

up to 270 (came off the floor like a rocket but my balls got pinched in the suit LOL = Bar dropped)

Them 4 inch defecit deads are a funny one arent they, like you say they seem to hit a block just passed the knees!
