You can only beat those who are there mate. 650 I'm sure would have still placed you in the top 3 regardless of who competed. 650 is my comp pb but to be honest I've not been at the races over the last year and even injury free I would have struggled hitting 640. I dont think Mark Lowe has re-discovered his 657.5 form and I'm sure would have hit no more than 640 if he'd have turned up.

Andy B however, sounds a bit wierd. I'd heard going into the comp he'd not been beaten on a British stage, maybe he decided to leave to keep his record in tact?

I'm assuming Phil N won with 670+

Cheers all.

Thanks Phil.

Need to check the dates for the Euros but think it may be a tricky time with lots of other stuff going on. Off course its only down the road which is a mega help.

As said elsewhere, great lifting Iain. And as Colin says, don't assume others would have beaten you if they'd lifted! You posted a good total.

To true Martin. I know I'd def be in the thick of it.

Looking at dates etc I think I'll plan for the Worlds in nov at the Kelvin Hall Glasgow (unless I am in the US). Next month or so is going to be busy and only just over a months training till Euro's anyway. Feel like I need a bit longer before my next meet. Hopfully I will be down Bournemouth on the day to watch or help out

Amazing performance Kenders - Going 9/9 and bagging a couple of PB's is very impressive mate!

The squats and deads looked quite comfy to be honest - looked to be a little more there Happy

Thanks pal.

Looked that way but sometimes pbs just go up nice and an extra 2.5kg buries you lol

My openers will be pretty similar for a while now as I slowy build up to a 660 total which is now on the hit list.

Great Effort that yesterday mate. I was the scruffy haired lanky junior lifting in your weight, at one point you told me to be careful or you'd nut me in the bo***cks! Unhappy Was seriously impressed with how clinical your squat was, definitely even more in the bank there!
