he's got betty davis eyes Member 1684, 6001 posts SQ 250, BP 186, DL 291727.0 kgs @ 118kgs UnEq | Northern Isles Strongest Man Competition - Overall as well as Orkney and Shetland titles Events: Overhead Medley - (Dumbbell 53kg, Natural Stone 80kg, Log 90kg, Oly bar with tires 100kg, axle 100kg) first 4 in any order, axle 5th for reps Car Deadlift Hold - Max time, Straps allowed Truck Pull - Unit and Trailer 20m Silver Dollar Deadlift - Rising Bar, Straps allowed 120 kg Farmers Max Distance - multiple drops allowed Stones - 100, 110, 120, 130, 140, 150 Novice comp: Events will be similar but weights TBC depending on interest. Will be fairly light to encourage participation. Events and weights will be posted soon. There will be a bbq, snack stalls etc as well as a crowd participation event during the interval Both catagories will be free to enter. Tshirts for all competitors and trophies for top 3 in each catagory. Anyone interested in coming up for this would be welcome | ||

Standard was very good. I had a s**t day in terms of performance and messed up every event (see journal) but it was good crack and the standard was generally the highest I have seen up here. Weather was pretty s**t, wind and rain, which thinned down the crowd a bit, but a very good competition. Orkney next year should be great too. | ||
