MT should be easy enough to jack you you just need to go though you PT staff and use4 there uin if you need the admin order PM me you dii or civy email address and il forward it to you | ||

I heard that the PT staff at culdrose wanted to include lighter weight classes to allow more people to feel comfortable with competing, but that you disagreed and said you didnt want to put it on anymore. Hope this isn't the case mate. | ||

Member 535, 618 posts SQ 267.5, BP 140, DL 275682.5 kgs @ 114kgs UnEq | Culdrose pt dept werent helpful at all i took the novice weights down to 60kg overhead, 200kg yoke, 75kg farmers a landrover harness pull and 80kg stones for reps but they still wanted it lighter as i said any light it would be a superstars comp rather than a strongman comp. the lad that was running with thing down there was going to be on draft in the tail end of march but it got mover to 28th of feb. so as the pt dept were not making it easy and the lad down there was going we thought it best to postpone it. im having a meeting with Drake pt dept tomorrow to sort a date for tail end of april start of may Danny Card the lpt who im having a meeting with is keen as musterd so i reakon we are better off doing at drake with the support of the pt dept as we should be able to get funds for trophies and tshirts ect | ||

My opinions have run their course Member 694, 3112 posts | i heard about the weights but not that much info.... yeah those weights would be the extreme end of 'lightness'.... so yeah id have to agree any lighter and its not worth calling it a strongman comp. | ||

I've tryed to organise a strongman comp up here at RAF Waddington and its like pulling teeth (more interested in people passing the Fitness test), then weight lifting. If you need any loaders or spotters, give us a pm. I'm sure the sports board will eventually come into our way of thinking, but it will take plenty of comps and service personnel to do this. Would it be possible to get a copy of your admin order to show our PedO, just to let them know that there is interest in the other services. Cheers. | ||
