Are you looking to spend Boar? I'd go with the Canon EOS 550D, get the kit lens with it and a 50mm 1.8 too. The video quality is fantastic, really good high ISO image quality so it won't be ultra grainy in dark conditions, plus a really wide range of lenses available, full 1080 HD, manual control of exposure etc... I think these days it's probably easier to get good results with a DSLR than a dedicated cam corder. I'll get some videos with mine soon.

Ahh ignore that then! I have a fuji finepix s1500, and my grandad has a dedicated hd camcorder. Both in the same price range, which is inline with your price range, and I'd say the fuji was much better quality to be honest. Problem is, I wouldn't say either are better than the quality of videos you've put up! I wouldn't be certain you could do much better than you already are in that price range.

I use a Flip HD for my videos. Check my blog for an example of the quality of the videos it can take.

Yeah John its worth it. I bought mine on a bit of a whim but i looked into which one was best and I was really happy with my choice. Its not that big either maybe about the size of a big phone. It can also record 2hrs of HD filming and has a little timer at the top telling you how much you have left to record. Its really basic aswell. You just push the red button and thats it. It also comes with video editing software built in, so you can sort out all your vids and then post them straight to youtube.

Flip HD, my brother has one and they are great quality and very easy to use as well. Not sure how expensive they are though.

I got one of these bad boys. Quality is pretty tidy, goes in full 1080HD.

Example training vid:

Looks pretty swish in HD.
