Watched WSM final just now. What a show!!! I never realised terry was so fast for his size. Marks deadlifting is crazy strong. Marius just takes the piss lol.

Good session. Cardio hurts...a lot but i will get used to it. My heart rate monitor has run out of battery so will get it sorted tomorrow. My upper body is still incredibly sore from friday so i thought a bit of speed bench and light pulldowns would help a little. I was dripping like a kazakstanian prostitutes vagine by the end.

although you look fine* and are probably fairly healthy** do you look back to the megafit days with a heavy heart ? I have been both and i really did enjoy the heavy training and competing but nothing beats the feeling of reasonble levels of fitness (except mega levels of fitness)

Ye I do sometimes look back to the days when i was a hell of allot fitter and wonder what level i would be at now if i hadnt had my bike accident. However bto be a super super fit cyclist/runner or whatever takes ALLOT of committment just to get in the training time etc.. A couple of my mates who still ride are doing 4+hours 4-5 times a week...I dont have the time nor do i want to get to that level of ftness again, powerlifting is my focus and i just want to stay healthy while I do it. Will hopefully get back on my bike soon but i need to get over a few mental things first.

LOL engineers have shaved grams off the bikes wherever they can, and them comes 20 stone hayden lool

the strongman training will help you alot and if you doing that you can drop one of your cardio days as the effects of event training on your body can last for a couple of days
