Had a good chat the other day with tony about kit alterations and it got me thinking... Do any of you wash your kit ? Ie deadlift suits, briefs, squat suits, knee wraps, bench shirts ???? The shirt i recently purchased from a fellow sugdener has been washed in the titan kit wash and to be fair it feels like brand new and looks spot on, but do any of you do the same with your other bits and bobs??

I once heard tom martin boiled his suit in sugar and waterConfused but fook knows ?

I wash all my kit (suits, wraps, shirts) a few days before a comp in warm water and titan wash

I wash my singlet every weekend, but only because I train in it

The suit I've been using to learn in is a bit big for me, so a couple of days before using it I wash it on the hottest setting my washer has to tighten things up a bit.

It stretches out again after one use though.

Never use Titan Power Wash in a washing machine. Detergent and fabric softener will still be in there. I recommend the soaking method and then into the machine for a spin cycle only (no rinse). Air dry.

Do this after your last sessions in the kit before a comp and then again immediately after a comp. No need to do it anymore frequently than this.

Lad i lift with does this. Apparently it fills in the holes between the weave of the fabric, making it stiffer. Atleast, thats what he says.
